Call for artists: Applications open for Artscape 2016!
Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival, invites artists and vendors to apply for its 35th year! Visual and performing artists are encouraged to submit proposals with the theme of "Space: Explore What’s Out There" for Artscape 2016. The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is accepting applications for Anchor Projects, the Artists’ Market (including the Artists’ Market Emerging Artist Program), Artist-Run Art Fair, Organizations, Food Vendors, the Fred Lazarus IV Artscape Prize, Gamescape, the Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize, Space Ships and other Space Vehicles, LOL @ Artscape, and Performing Arts (opera, theater, dance, classical music, etc.) The deadlines for submission and application fees vary, but keep in mind February 15th and March 31 2016 are some key deadlines. Artscape takes place July 15 through July 17, 2016 along Mount Royal Avenue and North Charles Street. Artscape is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.
