I never heard about this magazine and show, how long has it been around?
- The magazine and show was create on paper in a dorm room at Rochester Institute of Technology back in 1999. An artist platform created by artist, for artist! When we moved the offic to Baltimore in 2006, the first magazine issue and art show took place in 2008.
Who are the past artist?
- Past artist included: Barry Page, Charles Talkoff, Cheryl Roeske, Christopher Daniel, Ed Gross, Herb Mann, Felicia Baker, Janet Ibrahim, Jessica Rose, Kim McClellan, Kimeko Torres, Lamar Hill, Linda Gross, Lisa Calicchia, Matt Saindon, Mark Salo, Michael Jones, Michael Owen, Naimah, Nichelle Fullen, Phillip Martin, Roger James, Sherita Sargusingh, Vanessa Martin, Laurese Paintz, Tiria Laboo, Zach Zwagil, and more!
How many people come to the show, and what is the dress code?
- On average about 150-200 art lovers and buyers visit our show annually.
- Dress code, no tee shirts or ripped jeans. Dress to impress!
Can anyone submit art work for approval to be seen in your show?
- Yes! This is an art show created by artist for artist. No special membership or status required. The quality of your work is the only requirement.
I just want to be a vendor and sell my products or services, is that possible?
- Yes! Bring your table and display and setup your Pop Up Shop during our annual show for a total fee of $75. Submit your interest by email with details of the products or services you are going to be selling. A picture of your display is a great idea for a faster response.
As an artist, how much wall space can I expect to display on during your show?
- Wall displays are a 16' x 16' vetical area to display your 1 - 10 pieces of art.
- Sculptures will have a 8' x 8' of floor space. Bringing your own pedestals/displays is highly recommended.
So when will I know if I was selected for this annual show?
- Judging takes place "within" 10 business days from your email submitted date. Once approved you will be notified, then the remaining show requirements must be turned in before any deadlines.
