🔥This looks awesome 👏🏽 #Repost @guyfurnitureguy ・・・ It was a late night after my book delivery showed up a day late. Luckily my man, Herman the German kicked butt and helped me bore a couple hundred holes. @twoboltstudios even showed up to help cross the finish line. The arches were loaded and ready for pickup the next morning!

#Repost @mount_vernon ・・・ HUZZAH 🎉 The Washington Monument reopened to the public today! . Reposting @nationalparkservice: The Washington Monument has reopened to the public after a 37-month closure to modernize the elevator control system and construct a new security screening facility. Built to honor George Washington, the United States' first president, the 555-foot marble obelisk towers over Washington, D.C. Did you know, upon completion, it became the world’s tallest structure? The monument held this designation until 1889, when the Eiffel Tower was completed in Paris. Have you ever visited the top of the Monument? How was the view?⁣ ⁣ Image: Aerial view of Washington Monument taken by USPP helicopter.⁣ ⁣ #FindYourPark #NationalParkService #washingtondc #washingtonmonument #aerial #travel

🔥🎨 #Repost @washingtonpost ・・・ There's a new mural of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Washington. Pedestrians can find the art installment tucked in an alley between Bread Bite Bakery and Flock DC, the D.C.-based real estate group behind the project. In the mural, Ginsburg is wearing her judicial robes with a signature decorative collar, smiling as she gazes toward the U Street corridor. There’s a flock of birds around her — a reference to Flock DC. The founder and owner of the group told The Post she hopes people will see the birds as a way to “release their own passion.” Read more by clicking the link in our bio. No words. But never forget 9/11.💔 #Repost @military_footage ・・・ On this day... 18 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted. #wewillneverforget

The tribute continues. A great photographer acknowledges another. The kindness was so real. #rip💔 #Repost @mariotestino ・・・ Peter Lindbergh was an amazing man. Back in the 80’s, when I was just starting out as a photographer, I began working with make-up artist Stephane Marais and hairdresser Julien d’Ys. They were usually Peter Lindbergh’s team, but had agreed to do a job with me. One day, Stephane called me to say Peter wanted to meet me and asked if I could come to his studio. I was surprised he asked for me, but of course I went. He said he noticed I started working for Italian Vogue, but thought I was not working with the right editor yet. He wanted to introduce me to the one he thought I should work with. And he did. People often think it is all about competition in our business, but he showed me how generous a photographer can be. He has always been wonderful to me from that day on. Caring, kind, and of course hugely talented. We shall miss him. - Peter Lindbergh fue un hombre increíble. Yes! He had that effect on so many photographers such as myself who followed his work. The ability to show you the truth in his images. A creative light has passed, but what a gift he left with us. #rip #peterlindbergh Master Photographer, gentle beautiful soul. You will be missed. 💔 #Repost @vincentpeters1
